MINCAT SAE 40W is a monograde detergent motor oil with low ash content, in accordance with the requirements of the specification 7SE270 Detroit Diesel with 0,8% wt. max sulphated ash limit, for use in 2-stroke diesel engines. The use of this type of oil is not recommended when using fuel with high sulfur content (more than 0,5% sulfur).
Mainly used for Detroit Diesel Two Cycle Engines Series 53, 71, 92 and 149, this oil can also be used for the lubrication of gasoline and diesel engines with natural aspiration, in warm climatic conditions, where the API requirements SE, SF, CC and CD-II for engine oils are prescribed.
